Dave,
It sounds to me like the SVB... are you spraying... they hatch the eggs on
the under side of the leaves, they can lay many eggs, one on each leaf, then
they burrow down the stalk to the vine.
I use Scimitar to control them, this is the only thing that worked for me, I
was infested with Vine Borer and tried everything to no avail. Warrior T
will also work, but you will need a license to purchase it.
