Re: damaged pumpkin

Bleach & water and let it air dry. Captan will do it as well.

Subject: damaged pumpkin

I accidentally put a gash in a pumpkin about 1-1/2" long. What is the best
way to seal that up (right now, I have adhesive tape on it)? Will it
eventually close up? I have heard that grafting compound is one way to do
it.
Thanks for any help.
