The disease showed up first in Jim Kuhn's patch several years ago, thus it's
nick name Kuhn's Disease. I don't think it ever received an official name, it
is suspected to be a fast moving virus. It has been known to reduce a plant
to brown soup in several days. Your problem may mean it is carried in the
seed.
