Subject: Any 3-lobers on the AGGC site?

Are there any 3-lobe pumpkins listed on the AGGC site? What's the biggest
3-lobe recorded? A couple of my fruits on the 852 Simmons are 3-lobe and they
are some of the best looking so far, so what are the opinions on 3-lobes, pro
& con? This is the first year I've ever had a 3-lobe, and I have at least 2
on
the same plant.

Thanks.

Mark

Does the word pruning knife mean anything to you? Go for the gold. Prune
those 3 lobers off. The only reason to keep them is if you have nothing else. If
you don't have a knife I will send you one. Or, you could use shears. Use a
4, 5 or 6 segment pumpkin blossom. I don't think anyone would choose a three
unless they had no other option. There, I am on record.
