RE: Male blossoms
Dave,
I like to cut my males the evening before and put them in water because I
don't have to tie them up to keep the bees outs and I don't have to find
them again in the morning. You can leave them on the vine until morning but
you will need to tie them up just like the females to keep the bees and bugs
out.
Take care,
Doug

Who says pollination season is over? Maybe for those who really know what
they are doing and have an adequate area for growing. :) Me? I am still
trying and learning. This is pretty cool but it can also be frustrating when
you see and attempt at pollination abort. Take a person who is new at this
(pollinating) then throw near 100 degree temps during the first attempts.
Anyway, for those of you who have fruit sets, awesome!
One question though. If i see a female that will open the next morning, is
it best to grab any males that look like they will open the next morning too
and put them in water or should i just cut them from the vine right when i
need them in the morning?
