Long Gourd progress check
Hi Bob--my plants are healthy (aren't they always?)and most have recently
shown the first open male blossoms.
I have one plant from seed sown in the garden (not my first choice) on June
11,due to the loss of a transplant. So now it is an experiment to see if I
can get a good LG before frost hits. That is,will that plant catch up to the
others that are a month older and from transplants?
Your LG database will be fat with lots of new LGs this fall,I predict.
There are 4 possible competitions I can take my LGs too this
fall:Toronto,Pembroke,Wellington and Barrie,and I will if possible,all
depending on the timing.
Cheers--Al Eaton

Hi LG growers:
Hope all is going well with you folks. I am enjoying a cool period here in
GA with rain after a drought.
I have a few promising gourds so far, nothing to brag about.
Hope all is going well with you fellow growers around the world.
Best of luck to all Long gourd growers around the world:
