RE: Insecticide

We've tried the bat route in our area, but have had no luck attracting them.
We have a bat house, positioned as recommended, but so far (and we've had it
6 years now) have never had a bat in it. I've heard if you can find some bat
guano to smudge at the entrance to the house and on the ground beneath it,
you can attract them.

We have bats in our area, as we've even had one rest on our flag in the
front of the house for an evening before, but so far, no bats in the bat
house.

Hello Al,

Earwigs are nocturnal, and they fly.

I've heard that bats (yes, bats) are the best thing to control them. You can
actually buy bat houses. Not sure if you want to go that route...

Regards, Cliff

Hello Steve J.--I find that Sevin controls nearly all insects in my garden
and I have used it for years, lightly as needed.

The exception is earwigs,we have a high population this year and they seem
to just laugh at Sevin and chew even more holes.

What can you suggest I look for in a garden center to control earwigs??

Thanks in advance--Al Eaton
