Thanks a lot this is good to know, I think we will experiment on a few plants
like you suggested and see what kind of yield we get. I will let you all know
how it turns out.

Way back in my college days, I had a class where we measured various dosages of
Gibberelic acid on bedding plants. In most cases the Gibberelic acid affected
the plants length by making it taller. For the most part this is not a
desirable trait if you are growing annuals, you want them to stay compact. What
I remember is that the acid treatments did not affect bloom size. I can't
imagine how Gibberelic acid would be helpful in growing pumpkins other than
causing longer vine growth. Perhaps, you can take a few plants and experiment
with using Gibberelic Acid and see what kind of results you get. I seriously
doubt that it would affect the fruit. I have had the thought of using
Gibberelic Acid on Sunflowers in order to see if it made them grow taller.
Good Luck
