Hello,
Tragedy has hit my patch. Came home from work today and found
the end of the main vine and oldest side vine had been broken off and
was hanging. I buried the main vine at the break hoping it will survive.
Can't believe that the rain was so heavy last night that it could snap
the end like nothing. I still have 2 unpollinated pumpkins at about 12
and 13 ft., but that doesn't leave much vine growth past the pumpkin.
Has anyone ever had the ends snap off like that . If the main vine
doesn't continue to grow will this still be a good place to grow a
pumpkin. Any thoughts on this.
Thanks, Joe, Logan, Ohio
