No Bees Again!

Last year honey bees were few in my garden, this year they appear to be
totally missing.  The only pumpkins and watermelons that I can tell have
set are the ones I have hand pollinated.  I wonder if their numbers will
ever recover?  Where are the other pollinators like solitary bees,
etc.?  We did have a very hard winter in South Dakota last year but it
really is sad to think that honey bees may be a thing of the past.
