Just in case anyone was wondering how my pumpkins in South Dakota are
growing:

Holland 768:  2 pumpkins left -- main vine, 17days, 69 in. & secondary
vine, 17 days, 58.75 in. These are blocky roughly square fruit with
short stems.

Holland 739:  2 pumpkins left -- main vine, 15 days, 51.75 in. &
secondary vine, 13 days, 40.25 in.  These are elongated narrow fruit
with long stems.

Both plants seem to like heat.  Weather had been 90s and humid last week
and then dropped into the 70s during day today and all growth rates
slacked off significantly in past 48 hrs.
