Hi Greg:
Have you considered tracking (calculating) their RATE of growth per day
compared to their age? Also determine the AVERAGE inches/day increase. See
if one stands out from the other. If the smaller one is growing at a better
RATE, project ahead and see if it might pass the bigger one in a reasonable
length of time. On the other hand, you might predict the smaller one will
never catch up.
Do these comparisons using 1) Just the circumference, 2) Using the total
OVT. measurements.
If this is your only plant, it might be best to keep them both in case you
lose one for some reason.
