If it makes you feel better i have gold spots and i'm not worried about
them.
-but i am still fairly new at this I also have some little holes in the
leaves. both these only seems to ocurr on the biggest leaves. my
guess, is that they are naturally occuring and pose no problem to plant
of pumpkins. I was looking closely at the leaves and the little holes
look like the leaf grew so fast that it literally pulled apart from
itself - the hole were all at the center of the leaf near where the
steam come in. here is another SWAG (simple wild ass guess) no basis in
fact - the yellow spots are just a group cells on the leave where there
is no photosynthesis going on for some reason or another. thus no green
is produced and the other color shows. kind of like leaves in the fall -
after photsynthesis stops and the leaf starts to die the green color
goes away and the other colors appear. just a guess. only a guess.
