Scott-
most fruit that don't take will wither, die and fall off with in a week
to ten days. BUT- fruit can abort when upto the size of a basketball
or slightly larger.

how long do you have to wait before you can tell for sure wether you've
had a successful polination, or the fruit is going to abort? any signs
to look for?
