My question as to what we need in a SPGA weighoff, well, maybe I didn't
phrase it quite right. I wasn't talking about food and lodging. What I
need input on is this. I would like to be able to determine at this
weighoff the winner of the Southern Cup. This is tricky because as you
know there is no specified date to weigh the pumpkins in the states SPGA
represents. They just have to be in two weeks after the
GPC weighoff date. We need to have it organized in a way that can bring
in pumpkins in the flesh to the weighoff as well as displaying the
documentation of those pumpkins weighed earlier in the season for all to
see. We will need good photos, documentation as to its weighing, rules
for what is acceptable etc. So bring on the imput Cuppers.
Also, don't forget we have a Rookie of the Year award in both an over
and under 18 years category.
