Pruners,
Not all growers prune , but many do. The most common method is to take all
side vines of the side vines (tertiary growth)....it is quite easy when the
plant is small before it turns into a jungle. Side vines terminated @12 feet.
Main vine terminated apx 30 feet or 10 feet min past female you are keeping.
You won't be too far off with this. I have set four babies this week....watch
out early birds ....the late bloomers are on the way. You can set fruit for
the next couple of weeks then you will be running short on time. We have had
good fruit setting conditions in the Northeast the last few weeks. I don't
anticipate large scale abortion problems for people setting fruit lately.
