You bet it is alot of work, I took today off from work, just to trim the
plant.. lol, (seriously)..... It took me about 3 hours to get all the
way around the plant, and get "every" tertiary vine.....
	Did alot of inspecting also, and found three leaves with copper eggs..
hate those damn squash bugs.. My pumpkin on the Holland 897 has a 3-4 "
gash under the blssom end but is still growing, and is the size of a
large softball..... It is 43.5 inches according to OVT method..My first
two pumpkins from the Andersen 815 did not accept, so they wqere culled,
but the third is set 14 ft out, and is doing just fine. I have the green
beginning to this one, and all on this plant, but Chris has assured me
that the odds are in my favor, it is a pumpkin.. :)
