Experts might tell you that your 700 sq. ft. is hardly enough space
for one.

You just have to go with what you've got. (I grew a 300
pounder last year on less than half your space). Perhaps you have an
adjoining lawn on which you can mound the vine with temporary
soil? - That helps a lot.

Cut out all but one - a tough thing to do, but necessary. And I'd
suggest you grow 2 pumpkins on that one plant to be on the safe side.

Go for the most promising seed  and best-looking plant. Trust your
gut instinct,  listen to the advice you get here, and you will have a
very nice-sized pumpkin - maybe two!
