potassium deficiency?

I have a call in to our plant diagnostic lab - until I hear from them
and get a leaf sample tested, can anyone tell me what a potassium
deficiency might look like or any quick (foliar, I presume) way to
address it? I'm thinking of something akin to epsom salts (for
magnesium) that could help if there's a deficiency, yet not hurt in case
my hunch is wrong...
