I have several questions for the group to tackle. 1. Last year I had
several pumpkins abort at roughly volleyball size. They turned a paler
shade of yellow before falling off. Was this a fungal problem? If so
would a copper treatment cure this? Can the copper be applied directly
to young pumpkins? 2. What is a good growth rate for the pumpkins? How
many inches/day? What would be a good 14 day measurement? 3. How much
fertilizer should be applied /plant? In other words, after making the
fertilizer solution, how many gallons/plant should be applied?(I tested
very low for nitrogen and potassium, and adequate for phosphorus) 4.
What is a good growth rate for vines in inches/day?
Thanks in advance for the help!
