New soap-copper stuff?! What is it?

Has anyone heard of this new Soap Sheild stuff from Gardens Alive?!
It is supposedly more effective than copper alone, and has "fixed copper".
whatever that means. It claims to be more environmentally friendly, whatever
that means.
I read that copper can be dangerous to earthworms and can build up in the
soil, AND can injure pumpkin plants....but then again synthetic stuff like
Captan and all that can be WORSE, right? I am wonderign if this Soap Sheild
stuff would be any better, safer for the worms and safer to the plant, etc. I
am trying to find a good fungicidal program that won't hurt worms or
beneficial insects, OR the plants. HELP!
