Many of us keep track of our pumpkin measurements, but plotting the growth
rates on a chart can be a very useful tool. You can see at a glance when
pumpkins start to increase or decrease in rate and size.
Get some quarter inch graph paper at the drugstore; mark every day since
pollination along the bottom, then vertically along the left side, mark the
circumference in 2 inch increments.
On mine, I've super-imposed the growth curve of "Al Eaton's Typical Pumpkin"
to give a better idea of how I'm doing. - And so far I'm doing great!
