A neighbor asked the other day
If I was in the KKK
They'd seen the white sheets, in our field
I laughed out loud (lol) and then revealed
The golden globes beneath the shade
and told them of the plans I'd made
With shaking heads ,mumbling away
I think I thought I heard them say
She must be really nuts to try
I know I am ,and that's just why
Some just can't understand the reason
For the goal at end of season
But I just smile and hang my sheets
And dream of bigger pumpkin feats
