I'm still doing battle with Mr. Wood Chuck my self, Dried blood & rotinone
spread around the fencing seems to have helped for a few days. We have a
trap set with marrigolds broccoli & zucchini as bait . No luck yet . I would
put pumpkin vine tips and baby pumpkins as bait but he has already eaten
them all up. I moan when others on line discuse trimming vines ,as mine have
also been trimmed for me.Will try hot pepper spray tommorrow,. Looked
into electric fencing, to much $$$$$$$ but the person at the store sugjested
hanging the plain wire off of the fence,(cheep) and the wood chuck would not
climb it, because it felt unsafe to them .
