Growers,
Well, I did it yesterday afternoon. I cut the
main on the biggie and all the secondaries,
applied Captan paste to the cut, and put a
shovel full of dirt on them. The main was cut
at about 6 feet past the pumpkin and that's
o.k., I believe. Now here's the question:
I cut the secondaries between 6 inches
and 2 feet from the main, depending on the
situation. Was that right? I haven't heard
much talk about how long you should leave
the secondaries when they're cut. Comments?
I'm a little nervous today.
