I suppose geometry was never my strong point...Eugene was quite correct
to point out my error. My pumpkin which was softball sized a few weeks
ago is now 40" circumference, not diameter as I posted yesterday. I
didn't get an opportunity to measure it again this morning, but it looks
bigger. I know I have to start worrying about vine positioning.
Thank you all for your spraying tips to combat the dreaded squash bugs.
