Outstanding pumpkin Bill.... You are a fortunate one, as it seems all
Pennsylvania Pumpkin growers who planted the 815 are now Pennsylvania
squash growers.. The plant does have some great growing characteristics,
but a tendancy to grow a green one is more than one would want to take a
gamble on next year, assuming he wanted a pumpkin, and not a squash..
Now mind you, I have a squash that is huge, my OTT is now 220 inches
with measurements of 94-60-66 , goign at 232 pounds right now according
to the Len Stelfplug chart.. I was wondering, what is the largest squash
ever grown? How about the Pennsylvania record for (green pumpkins)? If a
grower says he has a green pumpkin... He is in denial that he is growing
a squash.. lol
