Alan-just thought I'd give the latest update on one of the plants (seeds)
that you were so generous with....As you know it was a slow grower at
first..unfortunately it was out-paced by the 1010 and therefore terminated
at about 7 feet(main vine) and only four secondaries were allowed to grow
before terminating(from 4 to 5 feet long).BUT,they were terminated just
beyond a fruit...well,this small plant now has four pumpkins set with the
largest at the end of the main measuring 43" in circumference this
morning.Looks like there will be some Reynolds Cross offspring come fall !!!!
Beatifull yellow round fruit...RC xRC,RCx819Stephanson,
RCx1010MacKenzie,and RC x 720 Hester.....will keep you updated,I think we all
should update the propagators of our free seeds .............GlennA.
