Depending on the food supply around, if it is scarce they will eat the young
fruit but probably not bother older larger fruit.
But they will eat anything if they really need food, that is why they are so
sucessful in all enviroments.
If you decide to box trap them use marshmellows for bait,they are bonkers for
them and you will not have a problem with every cat in the neighborhood being
in the trap as with other types of bait.
