Brad,
I am also using Admire, and ran into the same problem this week. I thought
everything was fine because I kept finding cuke beetles belly up on my
leaves, then the damage started getting bad on the vine "tips." I mixed 5
ml of Admire in 1/2 gallon of water and spot sprayed. The knockdown power
of this mix was absoultely incredible. It was almost as quick as a
pyretherin. Damage was confined to the small leaves at the tips of the
vines. I pruned the leaves that were beyond hope. The ones with the
"minor" damage I left alone.
I have never dealt with bacterial wilt, but it seems to me that it is a
"localized" type disease and the only way you could lose a plant is if you
had major damage to the entire plant. Some one please let me know if this
observation is correct, because I am not too upset at this point.
