Re: Born on the 4th of July

Hi rick. I am definatley a small backyard grower. But I have hope since
Gary Burke grew his 1092 llb pumpkin in less than 500 sq ft. So far, I am
having a decent year. My space is 15 by maybe 7 and I let my vines go
accross the lawn, on top of other plants and on to the cement. I have no
other choice. But I believe we can grow some big ones. Maybe not world
records but we can get them big. Best of luck to you this year and keep me
posted on how Chris and John do. Personally I wouldn't have named them
after ppl who grew big fast and then died young, because if your pumpkin
does that you will be disapointed. ")
