It is used mainly as a foliar feed to supply magnesium and sulphur. This 
helps when there is a deficiency by giving plants a fast supply. It works 
good on peppers and other plants to increase production and health. You 
probably don't need it for pumpkins unless you detect a deficiency, and you 
can add it by mixing, I think, 1 teaspoon of Epsom salt to a gallon of water. 
(I think this is right?) Might be a Tablespoon a gallon, I'm not sure.
