Elk Grove a little city or large town just south of Sacramento - right up
Hiway 99 from Fresno. The first Saturday in October is show down time for
those peole who are not into the big money at Half Moon Bay (which is a
little town just south of San Francisco). Zack had a note on the list this
AM. Send him your address etc., and you will get an official entry blank,
etc.
Officially the pumpkin contest is only part of the October Festival, but
everything else takes second place to the contest.

I am from San Jose, the main city in the Valley of Heart's Delight, now
called Silicon Valley.
