I am so glad you wrote about this and I would be interested in learning more.
I thought that the only contest for California is the 'Half moon bay" May I
receive an application for Elk Grove too? And are their any other "places"
for those of us in California that you could talk about?

Officially the pumpkin contest is only part of the October Festival, but
everything else takes second place to the contest.
