I recently purchased liquid malathion to help fight cucumber beetles.
However, I've noticed that the members of this list favor Sevin and
Methoxychlor as insecticides that don't require a license.
How come? Is malathion ineffective or dangerous beyond its usefulness? Does
it hurt pumpkins? Should I stop using malathion and switch to another spray?
Should I use up what I have and purchase no more? I only ask because, in the
two months since joining the list, I don't think I've seen malathion even
mentioned.
Just curious.

That insecticide works better for sucking insects like aphids.
