Measure it's circumference more or less parallel to the ground at the
position of largest outer dimension today and again in two days if it
hasn't changed then do it again in a week. If it has stopped growing then
put er in the basement. If it is still growing keep measuring until it
stops then put er in the basement. If it stops growing in mid September
might as well leave it in the patch.
