thanks and ribbed pumpkin

Dear Pumpkin Group,
First, thank-you for the wonderful advice and the warm welcome. Now about the ribbed pumpkin, I do believe it is a genuine Dill Atlantic Giant. I received the seeds from a neighbor, he writes growers and associations for seeds and then distributes them to growers in the quad lake area (or to whomever shows up at the Pilot House for Saturday Breakfast). He gave me four packets with one seed in each, on the packets it reads; Johnson 361, LaRue 425, Dill 600, Lloyd 906.5. The pumpkin developing the ribs is from the Lloyd. I set another two pumpkins on this plant and one at 5 days is also showing heavy ribbing but the one at 10 days is smooth. I'm taking my family on vacation and leaving today, as soon as the kids are to tired to argue, but I would be happy to send pictures of these pumpkins to anyone of you experts to decide if they are a problem. I'll have my laptop with me so e-mail me your address and I'll mail them to you (if you want a postcard I'll include one also).
Good Growing to all!

P.S. Wish my sanity luck-many hours driving with a 4 yr. old and 6 yr. old which both have a favorite phrase that starts "I'm telling..."
