My Kennedy 616 looks like it is almost dead....Was growing fine, Main
 vine got to about
6 ft. then slowed down, Now most of the leaves are laying on the ground.

We have been getting a lot of days with temps in high 90s &
 100s, No Rain....
I have been watering my plants pretty regular though....My Kennedy 625s
 are doing
great, Vines 12 - 15 ft. long, few small pumpkins.... Should I pull the
 616 and forget
about it or give it a chance ? ......Just got a little rain, not much,
 about a 5 min. shower.
Should I water them more when the heat is this bad or maybe build a
 shade tent or
 something.......Thanks for any responses..........Bob T

Some possibilities are disease or possibly something attacking it's roots.
If you do pull it check the roots carefully for damage. If there is root
damage you may want to treat the soil around the roots of the other plants
with Diazion.
