Filed gallon milk containers are hardly heavy enough to compact any soil!

You need to walk on the ground just as much for laying down soaker hoses, if
not MORE so. Plus, moving hoses around pumpkin vines is dangerous, since it
is very likely to get snagged on leaves, etc.

Ugly?! I think they are cute. Heh heh! I am not in competition for the best
LOOKING pupkin patch! I don't care what it looks like, it is the RESULT, and

You can mist withount laying down soaker hoses all over around the delicate
vines.
Anyway, I am not even saying milk juds are better overall, soaker hoses CAN
be better for some people in certain situations, but so can drip bottles!
