Growth Rate.

My largest pumpkin just turned 15 days old today and has a circ. of 59". Is
this an unsustainable growth rate?? This is way ahead of anything I have
seen before. Should I be worried about splits??? I also have a younger one
on the secondary vine at 39". It is a big plant and I will keep at least 2
pumpkins on it and maybe a third as a shock absorber.
