Official Weighing


     Group,

       I was wondering what could be done to get an official weight of a 
pumpkin in case it goes down a few weeks before GPC weigh-offs, would maybe a 
certified scales at a "Scrap Yard" or "Nursery" where they weigh stone or 
sand work? maybe even a "Truck Stop" scales, I'm trying to avoid having to 
put a (UOW) next to the weight of the pumpkin, we could also have a picture 
taken of the pumpkin setting on the scales with the date and weight and maybe 
a few witnesses signatures on the back, I'm sure some of us grow more big 
pumpkins then can be taken to the weigh off, it would be nice if we could get 
a "recognized" official weight on the others also, any ideas?----- (Elkskin)
