Well, the thing is if one goes down it is a slit or rot. Well, this could
be, if a split, a place for you to put things in the pumpkin to aid it's
weight. Or it may rot from you injecting things into it. I am not saying
you would do this, but it could be done by someone who is looking for
notaritey or a cheater who just likes to brag. But I think this is the
reason that you must put an UOW in front of a pumpkin that goes down from a
split or rot. And if you don't do anything to it, and you weigh it, at
least you know how well you did
