little red eggs

I been pulling eggs off of my long gourd leaves. Using duct tape I gently apply it to the egg mass and they stick to the tape without falling off. I've taken the eggs to an entomologist and the little red eggs are from lady bugs. The larger red ones from a beetle. The pumpkin patch was sprayed with eight this year and no bugs so far.
