manure tea

This is my second year of growing pumpkins in our backyard. I heard that
manure tea is a good fertilizer to use. Can someone please tell me how to
make it and how to apply it. Also, I have many golf ball size pumpkins and
some have started to die already. I know that I am suppose to eliminate all
the pumpkins to one per vine, but I don't know when to do this and which one
to leave. Thanks for your help.
