Re: manure tea

Dana,
You ready?? Here it is. We did it years ago back in the early 90's. We
had a 55 gallon drum filled with rain water then placed a gunny sack
full of horse manure down into the water. We would let this soak for
about 3 to 4 days moving the bag every now and then. after it soaked a
while then either bucket out the TEA or later we placed a drain on the
bottom and let it run out into the patch through a hose. If you don't
use a gunnysack the manure settles and plugs up the drain and you get a
heck of a mess. Trust me I know!! We don't do this anymore cause it
created suck a smell and mess not to mention all the flies that it
attracted!!Hope this helps
