I grew off the shelf seed last year . I found the number of lobes in the
flower to very from 3 to 5 with not so many 5 's. some growers say the
more lobes the bigger the pumpkin .other growers probably know better than
me. people seem to be talking about vine termination. last year I did some
experimental grafting. I don't suggest that other growers take up my DR
frankenstign ways. but if two vines from two separate plants happen to
need dead ended what is the harm in grafting them together instead of
burring them.
