Re: Males and Females


WEll, sometimes when you plant late heat stress causes the plant not to get 
any females.  That happened to me a few years ago with my big max pumpkins.  
You may also want to look into some of the high phospherous ferts and lower 
nitrogen fert if you are using any, but I assume it is the weather that the 
pumpkins don't like.  Or, your other plants may just bloom earlier.  Usually 
about 40-50 days after germination is when big max pumpkins bloom, or at 
least when my bloom
