Leaves Turning Yellow
Hello All,
The yellowing leaves on the on my Papez vine are getting worse. This is
after adding iron, magnesium, and fertilizer to the soil, 3 days ago.
The yellowing started at the center of the leaves, and now has followed
the veins to the outer edges of the leaves. It is still green between
these yellowed areas, but I fear it is just a matter of time. Both
Papez plants are acting the same way with yellow striping.
Meanwhile, one hill over, 25 feet away, my Cramer vine is still deep green
with NO sign of yellow in the leaves.
I am now concerned that the yellowing in the Papez is not reversible,
and it may be a virus in my Papez vine, that the Cramer vine is resistant
to. I hate to suggest this, as I know how the list reacts to virus's and
I may be WRONG, it is early, and I am newbie to AG pumpkins.
Is there a good image library of pumpkin leaves with various problems, at
different stages? I have a book with colored sketches, but I would like
to match my problem up to a photo.
Any suggestions on problem identification?
