Austalian Pumpkins
Hello Pumpkin People,
We have a friend that is from Autralia. I was wondering if anyone
happens to know if there is any "special" pumpkin grown in Austalia that
I might grow here, to give her in the fall. She is sometimes very home
sick. I think a pumpkin would pick her up some.
I see a "popular in Australia" pumpkin listed, Jarahdale? Does anyone
know if this widely grown down-under? I have sent a message to a fellow
in Australia that grows GP's and asked him for some info, but seeing as
I only sent the message 5 minutes ago I have not yet recieved a reply.
Seeing as pumpkins are from this continent to begin with I don't know
if I will find any "Australian" pumpkins, just a variety of what we can
get here via catalog mail order.
