RE: Deer Repellant
I have to agree with Mark. I plant marigolds (only my sescond season in this
location) but I've had no deer trouble despite a large deer population. My
big dogs probably don't hurt either!

Subject: Deer Repellant
I am new to raising pumpkins but I am definitely experienced at fending off
deer. Here in Central Virginia we have tons of deer and they love to wreak
havoc on gardens. I have tryed scarecrows, human hair, perfume, etc. Nothing
worked until a man told me to plant marigolds around my garden. I was amazed
at how well it works! If you plant them about 10 feet apart or less around
your patch a deer won't bother it. They hate the smell. I didn't believe it
until I tryed it but it is a sure fire cure.
